The Colwood branch of the B.C Women's Institute holds a thrift sale to raise funds for charities at the Colwood Community Hall (2219 Sooke Road) on the 3rd Saturday of every March. The remainder is sold on the following 2 Saturdays from 09-11.

Victoria and Sidney closures: St Vincent de Paul
We wandered into Victoria today for a social visit and dropped by the downtown thrift shops. When we got to the Saint Vincent de Paul on Yates Street, we were greeted with these signs:
Going in, we were informed that not only this shop was closing at the end of the month (March 2018) but the Sidney shop had also closed this week.
The remaning stores in the Victoria area are on the west shore (Esquimalt, Langford, and Sooke) and in central Saanich
